THE BIBLE & MORE

COME JOIN US FOR THE BIBLE & MORE CLASS!

Our Bible & More class, led by the Rev. Dr. Skip Ferguson, had a fascinating, enlightening, and joyful Fall semester! We took virtual tours of extraordinary artwork at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cloisters, and the Morgan Museum in New York City; took a deep dive into the toxic impact of racism and bigotry; learned how, contrary to all we hear, immigration is actually a positive for our society; and took a closer look at the theology behind the Lord’s Supper, Stewardship, and other elements of our worship life.

We will take a break for the Christmas holiday and then resume our Monday evening classes on January 6. Among our topics for Spring are whether Science and Faith are compatible, a closer look at the other two Abrahamic faiths, Judaism and Islam, and during Lent, we’ll look at what the Bible teaches us about forgiveness.

The Bible & More: Mondays, 7:15 – 8:30 pm, in the Case Library and via Zoom. All are welcome. We learn together, grow in spirit and faith together, and have a wonderful time together!

No need to register – just come!
